After a meticulous business feasibility study we decided to take advantage of the growth in world demand for textiles and apparel combined with the closeness of the most demanding markets, and we combined this with the good labor quality and affordable costs of the Mexican workforce.
With that starting point in mind we decided to design and build a high tech cotton yarn production plant.
The full design of the PECALtex plant was carried out in Switzerland, along with Germany both countries are known as leading in textile machinery. The machinery brands chosen to equip our plant are considered the best.

Our whole machinery is brand new, it was acquired between 2006 and 2007, and this guarantees us more quality and efficiency, less electricity consumption, more automation and an environmental conscience.
The yarn making technology has evolved a great deal into the computer and electronics fields, because of this, nowadays the newest machines like ours are capable of making really fast changes of production parameters and have a complete control of the production process that allows us to repeat exact lots with some simple instructions in the central computer control.
In Pecaltex we work the 365 days of the year to guarantee the production of all our orders. We produce an average of 2,700,000 kilos a year.
